During the afternoon sessions of the second day of the Youth exchange “Young Online Entrepreneurs”, the group learned about various influence techniques. It started with a video presenting 6 influence factors: reciprocity, scarcity, authority, consistency, liking and consensus, which were described in 1984 by an American professor of psychology Robert Cialdini.
After the film, participants received a task to use the acting method and demonstrate those techniques by selling a pen. They came up with many amazing stories and ideas. The second part of the session involved a self-evaluation excercise. The facilitator presented a pyramid method showing how to reach bigger goals by splitting them into smaller, daily tasks. The youth had a chance to present their impressive dreams and the ways to fulfill them with the exact steps to follow. Participants understood that even the big things are achievable if approached with determination and strong attitude.
After the dinner, the Macedonian and Croatian participants made presentations about their countries describing their culture, history and cuisine. Other participants eagerly tried the national delicacies and played a traditional Croatian horse game kok boru.
