The 5th day of the youth exchange “Young Online Entrepreneurs” was all about outdoor activities and interacting with the local community of Krushevo.
We got the unique chance to visit Општина Крушево/Municipality of Krusevo and meet with one of the councilors of the municipality of Krushevo, Ms. Aleksandra Tirchoska and the youth officer, Mr. Sotir Gabeloski. They presented to us Krushevo’s unique features, history, its famous products and touristic offerings. They also spoke about the businesses in the city, the situation of youth and the policies and activities the municipality does to support the youth. They also gave us marketing materials about Krushevo and Macedonia in general. We had the opportunity to ask them some questions in order to clear things up, and they catered to our curiosities with great pleasure.
After this visit, we got split into groups and we were given the task to trade a pen with the locals for something more valuable, and we were supposed to do this 5 times, every time with a more increased value. It was a great exercise to practice the persuasion and pitching techniques we learned in previous days. We also had to take pictures or videos, to prove that we made the trades and the process of doing so.
